Continued low visibility around Georgia’s Black Sea city of Batumi means flights from Tel Aviv are being diverted to Kutaisi International Airport in the western Georgian hub city, the United Airports of Georgia reports.
The weather condition is causing delays to service in the Batumi facility, the airports’ authority said, adding passengers on Smartwings, Czech Airlines and Arkia Airline flights would be offered bus connections to the seaside city from Kutaisi.
It also said 7 out of 14 flights scheduled for April 6 had been completed at the Kutaisi facility. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
