Western Georgia’s Kutaisi International Airport served 75,733 passengers in February, up by 63% YoY, the United Airports of Georgia announced on March 15.
The number of flights at the airport also increased by 59%, with the facility serving 256 flights last month.
Five airline companies operate flights to 28 destinations of 17 countries from the airport.
The airport’s body also noted the Hungarian airline Wizz Air would again station its third jet at the facility and add five new European destinations this year.
It also said the Kazakh airline FlyArystan would operate regular flights from Kutaisi Airport to Shymkent starting on July 14. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
