Over 26 thousand families in the capital will receive compensation of 40% of the heat bill. Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban made the statement at a meeting on November 14.
The compensations will be granted according to the old formula and it will not be necessary to submit new applications.
“The formula remains unchanged and people already in the system receive according to the same formula, without submitting new documents,” the mayor said.
He added that 800 requests for firewood had also been submitted, but the municipality had a small amount of wood. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
