Georgia received $306 million from abroad in July, up by 46.8% YoY, the National Bank of Georgia reported.
Russia ($100.59 million), Italy ($35.96 million) and the United States ($28.56 million) were the largest remittance senders in July.
Overall, the vast majority (97.2%) of all money transfers from abroad came from 24 countries.
Last month, remittances leaving Georgia totaled $27.7 million, as compared to $26.7 million in July 2021. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
