“In the first half of 2022, Energoatom generated over 34.3 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, or 55.4% of the country’s total electricity output. More than 32 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity was delivered. Hence, in the first half of 2022, Energoatom completed the electricity production plan at 100.4% and the electricity supply plan at 100.6%,” the report states.
Despite the extreme challenges caused by Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and the seizure of nuclear power and industrial facilities by Russian troops, Energoatom made every effort to ensure that Ukrainian consumers did not experience a shortage of electricity.
