Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has announced that pensioners who are vaccinated against COVID-19 before January 1, 2022, will receive 200 GEL (about $63.29 or EUR 54.71) of pension bonuses.
Garibashvili said that in order to encourage vaccination among the elderly, pensioners would receive 200-GEL bonuses after their first vaccine doses.
The PM further revealed that so-called COVID-19 “green passports”, allowing entrance to various establishments, would come into force in the country on December 1. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
