In October, the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE) provided air navigation services to 25,090 flights of Ukrainian and foreign airlines performed in the Ukrainian airspace, or 83.8% of the pre-crisis October 2019 level.
According to UkSATSE, Ukrainian airlines performed 8,569 flights in October (-12.6%) and foreign airlines – 16,521 flights (-18%). Air traffic distribution by flight types in October was as follows: 3,116 domestic flights (+16.2%), 12,660 international flights (-12.4%) and 9,314 transit flights (-27.3%).
UkSATSE also reminded of the dynamics of flights in Ukraine’s airspace since the beginning of 2021: 26,241 flights – in September, 29,048 flights – in August, 26,952 flights – in July, 21,113 flights – in June, 16,986 flights – in May, 13,661 flights – in April, 12,160 flights – in March, 8,758 flights – in February and 9,842 flights – in January.
