Ukraine continued increasing flour exports at the beginning of 2017-2018: the country exported 72 KMT in the first two months of the season, or 20% more than at the same time last year (60 KMT was shipped abroad in July-August 2016).
China is still the key end market for Ukrainian flour and keeps stepping up its purchases. Ukrainian exporters supplied some 22.3 KMT of flour to China in the period under review that is up 67% from the same time a year ago.
Also, Ukrainian flour is reinforcing its position on the markets of Angola, the UAE, Somalia, Libya and Panama. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
