The President Almazbek Atambayev took the issue of building schools in Bishkek under his personal control. He stated this at a meeting with the activists and the public of the capital, the Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to it, Almazbek Atambayev noted that the time when the capital was without light, without gas, without roads had passed. Over the past 4 years, the capital expenditures of the capital have been increased 8-fold, only in the last year 10,000 jobs were created in Bishkek through the launch of small and medium-sized businesses. Large-scale construction and repair of the capital’s roads is carried out only within the first phase of a large and long-term project.
The head of state gave instructions to solve the problems of citizens living in settlements near the city, to develop the system of public transport, to upgrade elevator economy, to build pedestrian overpasses on the busiest sections of roads, and to make the capital green.
