The reform proposed by the Cabinet does not provide for raising the retirement age, but it cancels the taxation of pensions, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said, commenting on the decision of the National Council of Reforms to support the pension reform.
“We had a thorough conversation, we received useful suggestions, and the National Reform Council supported the pension reform. Now we need to go through all the necessary procedures. The key positions are that the retirement age will not be raised, the pensions will be modernized from October 1 and the taxation of pensions will be cancelled,” he said.
