The Ministry of foreign economic relations, investments and trade held a meeting with representatives of the delegation of the Korean Federation of textile industries (KOFOTI) and the Korean Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH).
During the meeting, detailed information about the benefits and preferences created for foreign investors, particularly in the textile sector, as well as free economic zones in the Republic, was presented the foreign party.
The parties discussed topical issues of further trade-economic and investment cooperation in the sphere of textile industry, in particular the further creation of necessary conditions to export of textile products.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the provision of practical assistance to the Korean side together with JSC Uzbekyengilsanoat to prepare the analysis on the development of the textile industry of Uzbekistan. (UzReport/Business World Magazine)
