The payment for the use of subscriber number by legal entities providing mobile communication services (cellular companies) has been established at 2 thousand soums per month, starting from January 1.
This was stated in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On forecast of main macroeconomic indicators and parameters of State budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2017”.
85% of these funds will be channeled to the state budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan, while the rest 15% to the Development fund of information and communication technologies under the Ministry for development of information technologies and communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The funds are to be allocated towards the implementation of investment projects and programs for informatization and development of telecommunication networks.
Fees are for each subscriber’s number, the number of which is determined as of the last day of the month for which the fee is made.
In 2016 the fee was 1500 soums. (UzReport/Business World Magazine)
