Bringing order at the customs provided the receipt of an additional 18 billion UAH to the national budget of Ukraine in 2016, including a record high overfulfillment in December 2016 for 4 billion UAH, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said.
“Solution of one of the problems last year was bringing order at the customs. Our main task was to increase revenues to the national budget. I can speak about first such results: more than 235 billion UAH in 2016, which is 8% more than planned and 16% more than in the previous year. Some 18 billion UAH in addition to the plan is not a small sum”, he wrote on his Facebook page.
“The process was launched in August and in December 2016 we received an extra 4 billion UAH”, Groysman added. (Interfax/Business World Magazine)
