The National Commission for State Regulation of Energy, Housing and Utilities Services (NCER) will reduce the average tariff of Ukrenergo for 2017 by 4.1% compared with the current rate, to 6.054 kopecks per kWh from 6.316 kopecks/kWh (excluding VAT).
According to the NCER decision, the Ukrenergo tariff in the first quarter of 2017 will amount to 4.451 kopecks/kWh (excluding VAT), in the second quarter 7.656 kopecks/kWh (excluding VAT), in the third quarter 5.487 kopecks/kWh (excluding VAT), and in the fourth quarter 6.846 kopecks/kWh (excluding VAT).
The scheduled delivery of electricity to the trunk and interstate networks of Ukrenergo in 2017 is estimated at 111.5 billion kWh, in particular in the first quarter 30.1 billion kWh, in the second quarter 24.4 billion kWh, in the third quarter 26.5 billion kWh, and in the fourth quarter 30.5 billion kWh.
Expenses for repayment of loans from international financial institutions (the EBRD, the EIB and the IBRD) under state guarantees for 2017 are expected to reach 1.358 billion UAH. (Interfax/Business World Magazine)
