A Turkmen delegation presented the country’s transit and transport opportunities at the seaport of Constanta, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in a message.
According to the message, the embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania and the administration of the port of Constanta were the organizers of the “round table”.
The representatives of the seaport of Constanta, as well as the Romanian Ministry of foreign affairs and the Ministry of transport attended the meeting, the message said.
According to the message, the Turkmen side was represented by the country’s ambassador to Romania and the management of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport.
Turkmenistan and Romania agreed to create a joint working group to examine the best ways of the Black Sea-Caspian Sea trade and transportation corridor using the advantages of Constanta and Turkmenbashi ports.
The Turkmen State Service of Maritime and River Transportation is considering the possibility of transportation of cargo, including liquefied natural gas to Constanta. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
