Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu urges the business people of Romania to invest in Moldova. The official conveyed a message to this effect at the second edition of the forum, Moldova – Romania: Capital Bridges, held in Bucharest on March 27.
In his speech, the parliament speaker said that the beginning of the negotiations on accession to the European Union appeared and this was due especially to the Romanian officials and business people, who had firmly promoted the European affiliation of Moldova.
“Practically each man from our villages and cities feels your support. We have modernized kindergartens and schools, households provided with water and sewerage; we have light and gas, we construct bridges. Thank you for your unconditional support for better and for worse,” the official said.
Igor Grosu gave assurances that the parliament, along with the government and the National Bank (BNM), worked together, in order to back an economic growth based on long-term investments, so that Moldova was an attractive country both for investors from Romania and of other countries.
“I come up with a request to your: to speak about Moldova as about a country in which investments can be made. We have no time to lose, both we, those who must approximate the national legislation to the European one and you, those who want to invest in IT, HoReCa, construction companies, production companies, in renewable energy,” the Moldovan parliament speaker also said.
