According to the Agency of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in October the production volumes of vegetable oils reached the record figures – 33.6 thousand tons.
During two months of 2016/2017 MY the figure exceeded the production of vegetable oils in the same period last season by 30%.
A significant increase in the production of sunflower and flaxseed oils was also seen in October, when Kazakhstan produced 24.2 thousand tons (up by 13% YoY) and 1.9 thousand tons (up 11.5 times) respectively. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
