In January-October seaports of Ukraine handled 108,891,000 tons of cargo (down by 8.9% YoY), press center of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority reported.
Transshipment of export cargo totaled 81.82 million tons (-2.8%), imports – 13.418 million tons (-9.8%), transit – 9.025 million tons (-34.9%), inland traffic – 4.627.
Container throughput in seaports totaled 498,080 TEUs (up by 27.8% YoY).
State stevedores under the Ministry of Infrastructure handled 32.870 million tons (30% of total volume). Other port operators (mostly private operators) handled 76.021 million tons (70% of total volume) including 43.677 million tons handled via USPA berths (40% of total volume).
