Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service has permitted mobile operator MegaFon to buy 100% in Moscow-based firm Kombell, which deals with connection, telecom equipment and telephony, the authority said in a statement.
“We study closely all the proposals we receive on mergers and acquisitions. Prior to making a decision, we scrutinize the subject of the deal, and if the asset is interesting for MegaFon, the decision is positive”, Yulia Dorokhina, head of MegaFon’s press office, said.
No further details about the possible deal with Kombell were disclosed. (Prime/Business World Magazine)
