Belarus hopes that the European Union will lift its textile import restrictions, Belarusian First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Yevdochenko reported.
“The European Union introduced quotas on Belarusian textiles some time ago. Today we are working with our EU partners to lift these non-tariff restrictions. We are close to success, and we hope that 2017 will be the first year in recent times when Belarus-made textiles get exported to the market of the European Union without any restrictions”, Andrei Yevdochenko said.
