IFRS net profit of LLC Aeroexpress for H1 2016 grew by 42.09% to 459.802 million rubles from 323.601 million rubles for the same period in 2015, the company reported.
Revenue increased by 2.09% to 2.72 billion rubles from 2.664 billion rubles, operating profit – by 29.73% to 831.215 million rubles from 640.728 million rubles, pre-tax profit – by 40.32% to 587.005 million rubles from 418.343 million rubles.
LLC Aeroexpress is a transport operator established in 2005 providing intermodal and commuter transportation services pursuant to the license of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. Aeroexpress provides railway connection between Moscow City and the airports of the Moscow Air Cluster (Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo) as well as the Lobnya city.
On July 20, 2012 an Aeroexpress line was launched in Vladivostok between the central railway terminal and the new Knevichi airport. Since May 22, 2013 Aeroexpress trains have been plying in Kazan. The company’s shareholding structure includes JSC Russian Railways, Delta-Trans-Invest LLC and private investors.
In 2015 Aeroexpress provided services to 13 million passengers in Moscow, Kazan, Vladivostok and on the suburban route to Lobnya city in Moscow region (down by 21.7% YoY).
IFRS net profit of LLC Aeroexpress for 2015 decreased by 19.74% to 1.441 billion rubles from 1.796 billion rubles the year before. Revenue decreased by 3.95% to 6.062 billion rubles from 6.312 billion rubles, operating profit – by 16.81% to 2.278 billion rubles from 2.739 billion rubles, pre-tax profit – by 18.26% to 1.84 billion rubles from 2.251 billion rubles.
RAS net profit of LLC Aeroexpress for H1 2016 increased by 25.5% YoY to 450.435 million rubles from 358.916 million rubles. Revenue increased by 2.05% to 2.72 billion rubles from 2.665 billion rubles, sales profit – by 18% to 992.904 million rubles from 841.438 million rubles, pre-tax profit by – 24.74% to 578.489 million rubles from 463.74 million rubles.
