Nibulon, one of Ukraine’s largest agricultural enterprises based in Mykolayiv, has embarked upon construction of its second terminal for transshipping cereal and oilseed crops onto sea and river transport in Kherson region.
The new terminal will be located in Hola Prystan and it will join the one in Kozatske, Beryslav district, Kherson region.
After commissioning the Kozatske terminal in 2012, Nibulon managed to establish transportation of agricultural crops from Kyiv to its main grain terminal in Mykolayiv through the chain of its own enterprises.
On September 28, the company signed a contract of lease with the city council of Hola Prystan and in early August all the documents for the title to all buildings were signed. The design work is going on; the amount of investment is not disclosed.
Initially it was planned to implement this project from August to November.
Nibulon exported 4.56 million tons of grain crops in the 2015/2016 marketing year (July 2015 – June 2016). (World-Grain/Business World Magazine)
