The Deputy Minister of Reconstruction, Infrastructure and Transport of Ukraine Natalia Kozlovska took part in key events dedicated to Builder’s Day, which this year would be celebrated on August 9. She congratulated representatives of the construction industry on the professional holiday, thanking them for their contribution to the recovery of Ukraine and the development of communities.
In particular, Natalia Kozlovska joined the official reception on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine and Builder’s Day. During the event, the key results of the Confederation’s activities over 15 years were presented, as well as priority areas for the development of the industry, in particular, the Roadmap for the Development of Human Resources in the Construction Sector of Ukraine for 2026-2030.
Celebrations were also held at the Construction Chamber of Ukraine, which this year celebrates the 20th anniversary of its activities. The meeting of the Council of the Construction Chamber was attended by representatives of the Construction Chamber of Ukraine, the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, the Trade Union of Construction Workers and the Building Materials Industry of Ukraine, the Academy of Construction of Ukraine and the professional community.
Congratulating the builders on their professional holiday, Natalia Kozlovska emphasized that it was people who were the main force of the Ukrainian construction industry.
“Today we thank the people who create and restore Ukraine with their work every day. Behind every new house, school, hospital or enterprise is your knowledge, professionalism, responsibility and immense dedication to your work. It is thanks to you that communities develop, and people get the opportunity to live, work and build their future in Ukraine. Today, your profession is of particular importance, and the construction industry is one of the key foundations of the country’s restoration. War brings destruction every day, but it is your work that proves that recovery is stronger than destruction, and life always wins,” Natalia Kozlovska addressed the industry representatives.
According to the Deputy Minister, statistics also speak about the strength and resilience of Ukrainian builders. In 2025, the volume of construction work in Ukraine exceeded 258 billion hryvnias. After a sharp decline in 2022, the industry is not only recovering, but has already exceeded the pre-war level in many indicators. Construction remains one of the key sectors of the economy, providing hundreds of thousands of jobs and is the foundation of the country’s recovery. But most importantly, behind these figures are people who, with their professionalism, responsibility and dedication, bring Ukrainian communities back to life every day.
During the celebrations at the Construction Chamber of Ukraine, Natalia Kozlovska, on behalf of the Minister of Reconstruction, Infrastructure and Transport of Ukraine and on behalf of the Minister of Communities, Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine, presented certificates of gratitude to construction industry workers for their high professionalism, conscientious work and significant contribution to the reconstruction and development of Ukraine.
