The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia estimated the general grain harvest in the country in the current year at the level of 110-115 million tons, the minister Alexander Tkachev said.
At the same time, he added that Russia produced the similar volumes of grains 25 years ago, in 1991.
According to Tkachev, Russia plans to increase the share of grain exports. Also, he added that the ministry set the task to increase the general grain harvest to the annual level of 150 million tons, which would open up new markets and new opportunities. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
