According to regional agricultural departments, as of September 15, Kazakh agrarians harvested grains throughout 9.667 million ha, or 63% of the planned areas, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan declared.
As of the reporting date, agrarians produced 14.376 million tons of grains, up 2 times YoY (7.081 million tons). The average yield totaled 1.49 ton/ha (up by 0.39 ton/ha).
In particular, agrarians of Almaty region harvested 703.5 thousand tons of grains, West Kazakhstan region – 317.4 thousand tons, Jambyl region – 591.7 thousand tons, Kyzylorda region – 148.4 thousand tons, South Kazakhstan region – 564.4 thousand tons, North Kazakhstan region – 3.717 million tons, East Kazakhstan region – 756.4 thousand tons, Pavlodar region – 524.1 thousand tons, Aktobe region – 242.6 thousand tons, Karaganda region – 632.1 thousand tons, Kostanay region – 3.035 million tons, and Akmola region – 3.142 million tons.
