Various expositions, shows and competitions, including Aviadarts, contribute to attracting international interest to Russian military planes and helicopters, Russian Aerospace Forces Commander Col. Gen. Viktor Bondarev said.
“If we did not show the achievements of our technology, no one would probably buy it. Representatives of foreign states watch it (technology) join service with our troops, how we test it, show its capabilities, and they buy our equipment”, Bondarev noted.
He stressed that Aviadarts international flight skills competition contributed to the interest to the Russian military technology at the international market.
Aviadarts is one out of 23 disciplines of the 2016 International Army Games (IAG), which are underway in Russia. A total of 121 teams from 19 countries from across the world are taking part in the IAG which are being monitored by observers from 11 countries. (Russian Aviation/Business World Magazine)
