In January-July seaports of Ukraine handled 74,060,000 tons of cargo (down by 9.8% YoY), says the press center of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
Transshipment of export cargo totaled 59,190,000 tons (-1.4%), imports – 9,282,000 tons (-10.1%), transit – 6,285,000 tons (-42.38%), inland traffic – 2,303,000 tons (-40.4%).
Container throughput in seaports of Ukraine totaled 336,892 TEUs (+22.5% YoY).
State stevedores under the Ministry of Infrastructure handled 24,476,000 tons (33% of total volume). Other port operators (mostly private operators) handled 49,583,000 tons (67% of total volume) including 28,777,000 tons handled via USPA berths (38.9% of total volume).
