Ukraine is interested in strengthening cooperation with China, particularly in attracting Chinese investment and broad access of the Ukrainian goods and technologies to the Chinese market.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing Hennady Zubko said this during a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Ukraine Du Wei, the Government portal informed.
The third meeting of the Commission for Cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of China in Kyiv in 2016 should become a significant step to enhance the entire spectrum of bilateral cooperation.
“China is a strategic partner for us, we are interested in attracting the investment potential and production of China’s technology for modernization of the Ukrainian economy and development of infrastructure, as well as in getting access to the Chinese market for Ukrainian goods, services and technologies. The meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission will certainly play a positive role”, Zubko said. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
