As of July 22, agrarians harvested 21.34 million tons of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 5.88 million ha, or 61% of the plan (9.6 million ha, according to estimates). The average yield totaled 3.63 t/ha. At the same time, on the same date in 2015 agrarians harvested 16.91 million tons of grains throughout 5.2 million ha, with the yield of 3.25 t/ha, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported.
In particular, as of the reporting date Ukraine harvested wheat throughout 3.55 million ha (57%). The production volumes totaled 13.8 million tons, with the yield of 3.88 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested 6.82 million tons of barley throughout 2.09 million ha (73%), with the yield of 3.26 t/ha.
According to the announcement, Ukraine harvested 44 thousand tons of rye throughout 20 thousand ha (14%). The average yield totaled 2.22 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested oats throughout 9 thousand ha (4%). The production volumes totaled 21 thousand tons, with the yield of 2.29 t/ha.
Peas production volumes reached 643 thousand tons, with the yield of 3.17 t/ha. The harvested areas totaled 203 thousand ha (85%).
As for winter rapeseed, agrarians harvested 846 thousand tons of the oilseed throughout 327 thousand ha (72%), with the average yield of 2.59 t/ha. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
