By July 21, Ukrainian farmers had threshed 312.0 thousand ha of rapeseed, which was 68.4% of the plan (456 thousand ha). 805 KMT was harvested with average productivity of 2.58 MT/ha.
Despite the fact that harvesting progress is behind the last year`s pace, productivity is higher. By the same date in 2015 nearly 414 thousand ha had been threshed and 977 KMT of rapeseed obtained with average productivity of 2.36 MT/ha.
Considering high productivity, this year farmers are expected to gather 1150-1200 KMT of rapeseed. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
