The government delegation of Laos offered participation in implementation of Laos-Vietnam pipeline construction project and development of a refinery in Laos, representative of the Russian Ministry of Energy said.
“We are aware of Laos’ interest in participation of Russian companies in development of refining facilities in the country. The Laos government delegation held talks with the management of leading Russian oil and gas companies Rosneft, Lukoil and Gazprom EP International (Gazprom’s subsidiary) in the second half of April”, the official said.
Russian companies are currently studying these proposals in terms of economic viability, he added. (TASS/Business World Magazine)
