Mriya agroholding has claimed an attempt of illegal seizure of its motor transport enterprise located in Khorostkiv (Ternopil region) and the former owner is suspected of doing this.
“At around nine o’clock in the morning on July 1, 30 men, among whom were several security service employees of the former owners of Mriya agroholding (the Huta family), entered the territory of the Mriya’s motor transport enterprise located in Khorostkiv, using force and didn’t allow the employees to enter the building”, the holding said in a press release.
Mriya said that the company had all documents confirming the lawfulness of location of the company on the territory of this motor transport enterprise.
“The persons who illegally entered the motor transport enterprise decided not to leave it, and the company had to send the 24-hour enhanced security guard around the building. The company does not have access to it”, the holding said.
Mriya applied to law enforcement agencies and filed all the required applications, asking to interfere in the situation and not to allow the illegal seizure of the enterprise.
Law director Serhiy Ihnatovsky said that former Berkut officers mainly continued blocking the enterprise. He said that there were several security service employees working in Mriya before the company’s default.
“Their leader is Taras Didyk who also worked in Mriya as lawyer and who was involved in the withdrawal and resale of assets at the moment when the company announced technical default”, the company said.
Today he presents himself as director of Global Feed and a representative of Profit Control, which claim that they are owners of the motor transport enterprise and its fleet.
According to the Mriya’s information, there is a certain sale-purchase agreement for buildings of the motor transport enterprise signed by Bud M and Global Feed worth 7.6 million UAH. Bud M earlier was part of Mriya and the company was removed from the group when problems with creditors appeared. Then Bud M sold its property to Global Feed and fleet to Profit Control, and Bud M announced its liquidation.
Ihnatovsky said that this scheme was used to remove other assets of Mriya by former owners. (Mriya agroholding/Business World Magazine)
