Kyrgyzstan takes 163rd place out of 190 in getting electricity rank in Doing Business 2017. This is stated in the World Bank report.
The only indicator where Kyrgyzstan has received a positive assessment was “trading across borders”. Kyrgyzstan took 79th place here.
Thanks to accession to EEU, Kyrgyzstan reduced the time for the export of goods by 10 hours and decreased the exports cost by $85.
At the same time, there was a decline in nine indicators of Kyrgyzstan compared to 2015 by an average of two positions.
Thus, the country occupies 163rd place in getting electricity, 148th place in paying taxes, 141st place in enforcing contracts, and 130th place in resolving insolvency.
Country’s situation with the protection of minority investors is slightly better (72nd place), getting credit (32nd place), dealing with construction permits (32nd) and starting of business (30th).
Kyrgyzstan has the best result in the property registration rank – 8th place.
In this year’s ranking, Kyrgyzstan took 75th place, losing 8 points compared to 2015. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
