BelAZ, the managing company of BelAZ holding company, plans to start supplies of haulers to the Philippines, according to the website of the company.
“Coming to the Philippine market has become possible due to an effective policy of equipment promotion and systematic work of the dealer in this south-eastern region, Belazia PTE. LTD., which has been representing the interests of the plant since 2011,” the report said.
When choosing a model of a hauler for the Philippines, it was considered that these vehicles would be used to transport limestone for the CEMEX corporation, one of the world’s largest cement producers.
The Belarusian company is assembling six BelAZ-7555V vehicles with a load capacity of 55 tons and an expanded platform, multi-disc oil-cooled brakes, and additional fuel filters.
The Philippines will become the 78th country, which BelAZ has been cooperating with. BelAZ is the world’s top manufacturer of haul trucks with a large and extremely large payload capacity as well as other heavy transport equipment used in mining and construction. In 2017 BelAZ was ranked second among the manufacturers of haul trucks in terms of heavy-duty truck exports. (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
