For three years, the state has been providing people with support and housing under the eVidnovlennia programme. During this time, 196,067 Ukrainian families have received compensation totalling UAH 89.7 billion. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.
“People who lost their homes due to russian aggression have been given the opportunity to regain their homes, stability and a normal life,” noted the Head of Government.
In particular, under the eVidnovlennia programme:
– Over 138,000 families have received compensation for the repair of damaged homes;
– Over 56,000 families have received certificates to purchase new homes;
– Over 31,000 families have already purchased new homes, including more than 11,000 internally displaced families;
– Payments for reconstruction on private land continue – 794 families have received funds from the first tranche, and 336 families have already received funds from the second tranche.
According to the Prime Minister, the Government also continues to expand support for internally displaced persons, particularly those who have lost their homes in the temporarily occupied territories: “Currently, this component of the programme is available to IDPs who are combatants and people with war-related disabilities.” (Government portal)
