Due to low water levels in the Danube River, the ferry to Oryahovo stopped traffic.
The river level is currently -14, while the ferry can operate at a level of at least -10.
The situation is not unprecedented – it happens every summer, but this year the water level dropped earlier than usual, the Oryahovo-Beket ferry complex reported, and recalled that last year the work was stopped twice – each time for about five days.
According to information provided by the management of the ferry complex, at this stage it is impossible to predict when the ferry in Oryahovo, connecting the coast of Bulgaria with Romania, will resume operations. (Novinite)
