The Government has allocated a subvention of UAH 446 million to regions for the development and establishment of veterans’ spaces, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has announced during a Cabinet meeting.
The funds will be directed to Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kyiv regions, as well as the Kremenchuk, Lutsk and Kryvyi Rih communities.
“Co-financing with local budgets is set at a 60/40 ratio,” Denys Shmyhal noted.
He emphasised that veteran policy and creating comfortable conditions for transitioning to civilian life remained a key focus for the Government.
“Veterans’ spaces, which are being built across the country, play an important role in this process,” the Prime Minister underscored. (Government portal)
