The business of Poltava region is expanding its opportunities within the framework of the state policy “Made in Ukraine”, which was initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky. Entrepreneurs of the region are becoming participants in government grant programs. This was reported by the acting head of the Poltava Regional Administrative Organization Volodymyr Kohut.
Grants are most often chosen to create or develop their own business.
Under the “Vlasna Sprava” grant program 447 projects were financed in 2024 for UAH 104.4 million and in the first quarter of 2025 – 90 projects for UAH 17.4 million.
Veterans and their family members received UAH 23.1 million for 49 project in 2024 and in the first quarter of 2025 – UAH 3.5 million for 6 projects.
Grants for processing enterprises were given for 9 projects worth UAH 51.4 million in 2024 and in the first quarter of 2025 – 5 projects for UAH 27.3 million.
Under the grant program “CREATE”, entrepreneurs took advantage of the support of business projects in the food and medical industries.
More than 80 manufacturers in Poltava region already label their products with the “Made in Ukraine” logo, and more than 70 have joined the “National Cashback” program.
“The national initiative “Made in Ukraine” is aimed at attracting investments to support domestic production and increase demand for Ukrainian products. The program provides for the use of various instruments, including preferential lending, grants, compensation mechanisms and regulatory provisions,” emphasized Volodymyr Kohut.
There are four regional offices of “Made in Ukraine” operating in the Poltava region. Since the beginning of work, specialists have processed 1,528 applications and provided 1,791 professional consultations. Within the framework of the regional platform “Dialogue between Government and Business”, 16 meetings were held this year. (Poltava Regional Military Administration)
