President Volodymyr Zelensky said the Black Sea Maritime Corridor would work regardless of whether Russia wanted it or not. The head of state stated this at an online press conference on March 18.
“The corridor is working for us and will work despite the attacks targeting it, which, unfortunately, are taking place. That is, whether Russia wants it or not, the corridor will work,” Zelensky said.
He noted that the ports were part of civil infrastructure, and suggested that the situation related to the security of Ukrainian ports might change in the near future.
“I think we will see some progress in the coming days,” Zelensky predicted. (Ukrinform)
