Prime Minister Dorin Recean visited the cherry and apricot orchard of entrepreneur Valeriu Gheorghita in the village of Cobani, Glodeni district. He appreciated the integration of new technologies and modern infrastructure by the farmer, who had built underground irrigation, had a water storage basin and a pumping station.
Also, recently, thanks to the financial support provided by the Agency for Intervention and Payment in Agriculture, the entrepreneur has built a cold store with controlled atmosphere and received subsidies from the state.
“Businessmen’s effort means economic growth and more well-paid jobs. The government’s priority is to create as many opportunities as possible for entrepreneurs, including new markets such as Europe,” he said. (Moldpres)
