The National Coordination Council for Regional and Local Development (CNCDRL) for 2024 has allocated 58 million lei (2.9 million euros) for 14 regional projects and on urban revival, due to be carried out in the southern region of Moldova.
According to the South Regional Development Agency (ADR Sud), most of these projects are with emphasis on the construction of water mains, ecotourism, tourism infrastructure and urban development in diverse settlements from the country’s southern region.
“The works for at least three new projects will start this year. We are also set to finish at least two regional development projects,” ADR Sud said.
In 2023, the South Regional Development Agency implemented six regional infrastructure projects. As much as 67.5 million lei was turned to account from the National Fund of Regional and Local Development. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
