The International Monetary Fund has raised its forecast for Poland’s GDP growth in 2024 to 2.8% from 2.3%, and lowered it to 3.2% in 2025 from 3.4%, according to the latest version of the IMF’s cyclical World Economic Outlook report.
The report does not provide justification for the forecasts.
In November 2023, the European Commission estimated that Polish GDP in 2024 would grow by 2.7%. The Finance Ministry, responding to the Commission’s figures, said that this year “Poland would record the biggest GDP growth among Europe’s big economies.” (PAP/Business World Magazine)
