Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi held a regular online meeting with Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of Spain Luis Planas Puchades.
The parties discussed the export of Ukrainian agricultural products and food security. In particular, the extension of the duty-free and quota-free trade regime between Ukraine and the EU.
According to Luis Planas Puchades, Spain fully supports Ukraine in the face of the unprecedented and illegal aggression of the russian federation. This includes both military and humanitarian assistance. The Spanish Agriculture Minister stressed that support for Ukraine also meant promoting Ukrainian export, which was key to keeping the economy running. According to him, Spain is interested in importing Ukrainian agricultural products, in particular corn and sunflower.
Mykola Solskyi thanked for the understanding and support. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
