The services and active measures meant for the unemployed and people looking for jobs will be improved. The Cabinet of Ministers has approved more amendments, which will contribute to the jobless people’s quick employment and will facilitate the providing of data on the employers and employees benefiting from support on behalf of the state.
The draft sees the diversification and extension of the ways of registration of citizens with status of unemployed people. The unemployed people can register at one of the territorial subdivisions, as well as online, with the support of specialists of the Unified Centres for Provision of Public Services or by accessing the system, www.e-iss.anofm.md.
Also, under the document, the term of repeated registration with status of jobless person will be extended from 3 to 6 months and the criteria taking unemployed people out of record will be changed. At the same time, decision-makers will revise the way of payment of the one-off unemployment allowance and the way of calculation of the quantum of the unemployment allowance for the people who were on maternity leave/childcare leave for taking care of the child up to the age of three years. At the same time, the quantum of the unemployment allowance will be established uniformly, no matter the circumstances of dismissal from job and will account for 40% from the person’s insured monthly average income.
The jobless people who started a business will be able to apply, after 12 months, to the subsidy dealing with purchasing of technological equipment and endowment of arranged spaces, meant for economic activity. Another provision regards the extension of the providing of subsidies within the measure of backing the draft of local initiatives in all rural settlements and establishing the right of submitting the file for subsidy once in 2 years.
