Citizens of 47 states will be able to work in the Republic of Moldova without a work permit. The list of countries whose citizens would be able to benefit from these facilities was expanded by the government on January 24.
Among the 20 countries added to the list are Canada, the Swiss Confederation, Georgia, Iceland, Japan, Norway, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Turkey, the United States of America and Ukraine.
Thus, the inhabitants of the states will be able to work in Moldova up to 90 days without a work permit and only on the basis of a visa, the right of residence or the right of temporary residence.
The decision complements a decision approved last June, when the same restrictions were removed for citizens of European Union states. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
