President Maia Sandu participated in an event dedicated to the completion of road works that would benefit three localities in the north of the country.
“The residents of the villages of Izvoare, Falesti and Stolniceni and Cioropcani from Ungheni will have, from today, a European road, a road they have been waiting for decades. The repair works of two 5 km road segments have been completed, thus, the three localities have safer travel conditions,” the head of state said.
The president said that the works were financed from the Road Fund and demonstrate the government’s priority to modernize the roads in the Republic of Moldova.
“Road by road, with constant effort from our institutions and with the support of European partners, we will have a safe, accessible road infrastructure and connected to the European road network everywhere in our country,” the head of state said. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
