From November, Arkia airlines will operate direct flights on the Tel Aviv – Chisinau route. Ambassador of Moldova to Israel Alexandr Roitman and company director-general Gadi Tepper agreed on the decision on October 25.
At the meeting, the parties pointed out the decrease in the number of direct flights between Tel Aviv and Chisinau, due to the state of emergency and the state of war in Israel, as well as the significant increase in air ticket prices.
Given the growing demand of Moldovan citizens to travel to the Republic of Moldova, who addressed to the diplomatic mission, as well as to the request of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the State of Israel, the Arkia airlines decided to operate two flights per week on the Tel Aviv-Chisinau route, on Thursdays and Sundays, at affordable prices. The first two flights will be on November 2 and 5. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
