On October 7-11, Moldova participates with a country stand in the world’s largest trade fair for food and beverages, Anuga, held in Cologne, Germany. The country presents a variety of agri-food products such as dried fruits, juices and cans, pastry and culinary, bee honey and bee products, as well as ice cream under a common brand – “Moldova – a special taste”.
Moldova’s participation in Anuga represents a good opportunity to present local products on the global stage, to establish commercial partnerships and to explore new trends and innovations in the industry.
The presence of the companies at the stand is due to the cooperation between the Moldovan Investment Agency and the development partners – the USAID-funded Rural Competitiveness and Resilience Activity and the Economic Development, Governance and Enterprise Growth (EDGE) project.
Anuga is the world’s leading trade fair for food and beverages.
“This year, the exhibition brings together a record number of 7,800 exhibitors from 118 different countries and more than 169,000 profile visitors. Anuga is a perfect global platform for the promotion, knowledge and documentation of the most sustainable production practices and innovative technologies applied in the food industry,” summarize the organizers.
