Prime Minister Dorin Recean has visited the company Garma-Grup from the Farladeni village, during his working visit to the central Hancesti district. The enterprise is a family business, launched 22 years ago and led by Valentin Ungureanu.
In the last years, the businessman has invested in the development of an advanced production system and to minimize the squandering and enhance the efficiency of the resources he avails of, the businessman developed a closed circuit of agricultural waste. Thus, the entrepreneur invested in the construction of a station for producing renewable energy on biogas, which fully covered the needs of his enterprise.
“I appreciate the courage and firmness of this investor. Although the war in the neighbour country created him difficulties, Valentin did not get discouraged. He continues investing in modern equipment, looks for new markets, business partners and alternative transport routes. This is an example of success and resilience, as his company has become the biggest taxpayer to the state budget from the Hancesti district, recording a profit of 58 million lei,” PM Dorin Recean said.
The company has several production branches, each endowed with last generation agricultural equipment. Presently, the enterprise’s mill daily processes up to 80 tons of wheat; the factory of pasta daily produces about 20 tons of pasta from its own flour and the alcohol-producing factories daily process up to 60,000 litres of alcohol.
Garma-Grup makes progress in more fields, including the growing and sale of cattle, growing fodder on his own farmlands, production of biogas and renewable energy, national and international transport of cereals and liquids. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
