Prime Minister Dorin Recean was dissatisfied that the road junction construction works around the city of Balti were taking years. The official assured that in a few months, the road junction would be completely open to traffic.
The premier inspected the works and discussed with the site manager the issues related to the duration of the executions.
“At a road junction in Balti we have a classic example how we plan badly, implement badly, finance badly and here are the works that were supposed to be executed in 18 months – they take years. I have analyzed the problem together with the site manager and by October these works must be completed. It will happen,” said Recean.
“Together with the team from the Ministry of Infrastructure for Regional Development, we will ensure that, in a few months, the road junction will be completely open to traffic”, he said.
Construction works on the road junction near the city of Balti began in 2019 and, according to the contract, were to be completed until December 2020. This April, the State Road Administration announced that the works had been completed in proportion to 80%. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
